§ 240.010. Purpose.

The purpose of this Chapter is to provide a procedure for the filing of petitions for the placement of street barricades to retard the speed of motor vehicles in specified portions of streets to enhance the safety of pedestrians and to provide for a mechanism for temporarily barricading a street for certain neighborhood, civic and community events.
